I'll bet there is a simple answer to this that I am missing. How do you set a checkbox with a script?

It's not working consistently for me with records viewed through a portal. I can uncheck by setting the box value to null. However, setting the value to 1 only works for one record.

The checkbox is only there to indicate that a record has been related with another through a join table. I just need checkbox on and off.

The button is on the portal row. As is the checkbox.
