Hi, I starting using FM about 3 hours ago and as such am a numnut beginner and getting very lost. I have created a database for customer registration for internet access. I would like by way of a submit button like to at the end of the data capture be able to press a submit button and have the contents of that record e-mailed, printed, saved as a PDF and have the next record come up. I have managed all except that when the e-mail dialogue box comes up, there is no data from the record?, also can I automate the saving of the PDF file name to a specific directory with a filename taken from an automatically generated field in my data??

Secondly, Can I randomly generate a field value to be restricted to seven characters containing both numbers and letters? I am trying to generate a seven digit password that must contain numbers and letters.

Thirdly, in fields is it possible to have the value automatically checked to ensure that it is unique throughout the entire database. I.e. a username field.

Fourthly, Can I set a field so that when I enter say - peter in one field, it generates the same number with suffix such as as @mynet.co.bw, with the end result being [email protected]

Any help on any of the above would be most appreciated. Botswana
