Function DayName returns German day names

Hi to everyone:

I have the following problem: I have FileMaker Pro 4.0 in German as well as in English. Now, I created a new database with the German product and created a calculation field, which uses the "DayName" function (in German the function is called "TagName"). This returns e. g. a German weekday name. So far, so good.

Now, to transfer the database to English, I bought an English Filemaker Pro version (4.0) and ran the database on an US-computer (US version of Win XP). However, the calculation field still returns the GERMAN name of the day (e. g. "Sonntag" instead of "Sunday"). If I create an entirely new database, everything works fine and I get English day names. However, my database (with all layouts, etc) cost me appr. 6 months of work, so I can just start from scratch. How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,
