crazylegs Posted February 15, 2002 Posted February 15, 2002 This is the complaint I got from my client, I have not worked in a server environment before. Can someone make suggestions where to start to fix this. This is the message I was talking about: "1 record(s)could not be modified because they were in use by other users or your password does not enable you to use them". It came up this morning the first time I entered a password. I then proceeded to enter a new leak proposal request and then print a work order. The property name and address again did not appear on the work order. I shut down FileMaker and brought it back up this time using #2 instead of #1 as a password, as you advised. The above message box quote came up again about the records not able to modify, etc. but I was able to print the work order and the correct information came up. Thanks For The Help Joe
Steven H. Blackwell Posted February 16, 2002 Posted February 16, 2002 This could be any number of things. For a starter, what version of FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server are you using? That helps narrow the behavior issues. Old Advance Man
crazylegs Posted February 16, 2002 Author Posted February 16, 2002 I am using 5.5 both server and app. I am thinking that I did not set all related databases to multiuser.
