Is it just me, or is external server account authentication broken?

Works fine under v3, but as soon as I updated to v4 for some reason it no longer works?

The event log is silent, as are the various open directory logs.

Not broken on Windows, or on OSX in my tests. On OSX I only tested with local accounts, not OD accounts. What are you using?

Technically they are OD accounts. FM Server is located on the OD master server.

Maybe I just need to reinstall from scratch. Like I said, the logs are completely silent. They don't even show failed login attempts.

It's also more than one file.

Any reasons in particular, why that specifically is a bad idea?

I do realise that it is best practice to have FMS on it's own server.

Performance, security, and relaibility.
