COMM-UNITY NETWORKING SYSTEMS RELEASES MMCOLOR 1.5.0, A FILEMAKER PLUG-IN.

Fort Worth, TX, July 20, 2006 -- Comm-Unity Networking Systems announces MMColor 1.5.0, an interface plug-in that allows you to create and edit color in FileMaker Pro. This version is fully compatible with FileMaker Pro 8.5 on the Windows platform as well as both the Mac/PPC and Mac/Intel platforms.

This new release is a free upgrade to existing users of MMColor 1.x. If you currently own a license for MMColor, all you need to do is download this new version and install it. It will automatically import your previous settings.

Description

The MMColor plug-in is one of many "MM" plug-ins from CNS. The MM stands for "Mighty Mini". Each plug-in in this series has a very specific duty, thus "mini", but their functionality is mighty in stature. The MM plug-ins will help you accomplish things that could not ordinarily be done with just FileMaker. They will help you develop and deploy solutions that were simply not available before. Also mini, is the price, starting at $35 for a single user license.

The new 1.5 version of MMColor now adds the ability to specify the size of the Color Image that you need. FileMaker on Windows has a problem stretching small images in container fields in that the right and bottom sides of the image appear to fade to white. By allowing you to specify the exact size of the Color Image, you can get around this problem now. This version also allows you to specify the Alpha Transparency level of the Color Image, meaning you can have partially transparent Color Images now.

What's New in this Version

- Compiled as a Universal Binary plug-in to work on both PPC-based and Intel-based Macs.

- Switched to PNG Images which allows for custom Image sizes as well as Alpha Transparency.

- Modified the ShowColorPicker function to return nothing if the script did not give an initial color and the user cancels the dialog.

Demonstration Version Available

A demonstration version can be downloaded from the MMColor product page at . Once there, click the "Download Now" button to begin the download process. You can evaluate MMColor for 30 days for free, however, after 30 days, MMColor should be removed from your hard drive if you do not plan to purchase it. The demo version of MMColor will display a splash screen every fifteen minutes that you use it. Once you purchase and register your copy of MMColor, the splash screen will no longer show.
