Hi, I currently use the "Open URL" script step to open web addresses such as a supplier's web page.

Is there any way to get the URL to open in a new web browser as I would prefer this method?

Your asking a lot here :), it is windows after all.

What you could try doing is:

Send Event[what ever rubbish here; "iexplore"]

Wait[0.5] (might not be necessay, just long enough for the previous command to be executed by the OS)

Open URL[YourWebaddres]
