August 17, 200025 yr Newbies This is kind of a newbie question, but... I have a need to set some security up to lock out some users of a specific layout in a dbase. I set up the passwords and the groups, follow the instructions about allowing access to the layout per the passwords, but with the "general" pswrd, I get locked out of the entire db, not just the specific layout. My "secure" pswrd works fine. What gives? This is in FMPro 5 Servr on a Mac

Better yet, restrict the layout via navigation scripting, much more controlable. ------------------ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Kurt Knippel Senior Filemaker Developer http://www.database-resources.com mailto:[email protected] =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
