A) I so have no clue what value list your talking about.

:) Your problem lies in Mark_Memebers_participated_at_Mem..... script, where you try to set the Memebersparticipated field. For whatever reason, the layout you are on and the table occurance that layout is based on, isn't properly related to your Memberparticipated TO at the point at which your script is executed.
