Is there anyway to get Filemaker to accept input from function keys? My natural response to this would be apple script but I am not sure how to go about it.

If you are running on a new computer 2000 or newer and have OS 9 you can assign the FKeys to AppleScripts.

Depending on your AppleScript you can have it interact w/ FMP.

One note is that the FKeys are not program sensitive, and it will override all existing FKeys in programs.

That was the approach I thought I would have to take. I am not very familuar with applescript, any idea what the script should consist of? All I want it to do is launch a script from within filemaker.
