I was trying to do a calculation that is a minimum of all values that are not zero of a numerical field of a related table, but the Min() function only takes pure field names, so I can't do something like

min(othertable:field > 0)

as it generates an error

Can I do this solely with a calculation, or do I need a script to do something like this. I was trying to figure out if I could use the lookup function, but this only works for fields that are invalid it seems. What I really need is something like:

min(findRecords(othertable:field>0))

Thanks for any help in advance.

There are several ways to do this. I believe the simplest one is to define a calculation field in the related table =

Case ( NumberField > 0 ; NumberField )

Then, in the parent table, calculate Min ( related::calcField ).
