2 letter pi Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 (edited) Does anyone know of an easy way to copy field definitions (not the data) from one table into another table in the same file....without just re-creating them??? . LaRetta Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 Since vs. 8 (Advanced), you can import tables and copy tables. Look in FM Help for: Import Table Schema and Copy Table Schema. Copy Tables only copies all the fields and calcs. And you can copy/paste specific calcs from one table to the other. Look in your Define Database Tables tab for Import and Copy.
