I am trying to launch a web page address according to the contents of a field in a non-web database, but can't work out how it is done.

Can anyone give me a quick tip?

You don't need AppleScript.

Just a field "Web_site" and a script :

Open URL [Without dialog;"Web_site"].

That's all.
