I am running Filemaker Pro Server version 5.5 and am looking for a way to open and close individual files. I was hoping to do this using the task scheduler if possible. Is this possible?

FMS has a command line, check the manual for a list of them (they differ between Mac, Windows and Linux). But you can open and close files from the command line.

With that you can write a batch file or VBscript and schedule it with the Windows task scheduler.
