Web Viewer Image Drag & Drop?

Featured Replies

Has anyone been able to drag an image from Web Viewer and drop it into a container field on the same layout? I get the message "This file cannot be opened because it does not belong to this solution".

I can drag an image from a separate browser window into the container. And I can cut/paste the image from the Web Viewer into the container. I can even drag text from the Web Viewer into a text field on the same layout. But dragging images from the Web Viewer are a no-go.

Any suggestions of something to try?

Image drag and drop from WV to container works fine for me.

Here's a test file to demonstrate what I'm experiencing. Neither of the container fields will accept images from the Web Viewer, but both will accept them from a browser running in its own window. Text strings can be dragged from the Viewer to either text field.

Any suggestions of what else to try will be appreciated.

Your file demonstrates no problem dragging images from the web view to the container fields. See attached. I searched Google Images for telephone and grabbed a few.

Maybe it's just another limitation of Windows; it worked fine on a Mac.

Thanks for your response. Sounds like good news for Mac users.

I hope someone can give it a try under Windows soon. I haven't lost hope that it's only a setting somewhere.
