DDR is missing "Layouts that use this script" references

Featured Replies

I ran a complete DDR (all options) on a complex database in preparation for housekeeping. I thought the DDR would help me locate obsolete, unreferenced scripts.

However, the DDR is incomplete w.r.t. "Layouts that use this script." Dozens of the 250+ scripts are "attached" to layout items with Perform Script. But the DDR shows only 2 of the scripts with layout references. I see no difference between the references to those 2 scripts and all of the others.

I see the same thing. I ran the DDR on a windows hosted database. Many of the scripts that I know are being used are not reported in the 'layouts that use this script' box.

Any one else notice other missing information?

I am going to run the same DDR and save as XML to see if I get different information on the layouts that use this script.

added more info

After running the DDR as an XML, I used Johnathan Starks' tool for viewing the XML.

This version of the DDR, didn't even contain information about the script usage!
