Portal to display results of "find"

I want a portal to display 4 fields from reccords in my database

Basically i have a database of people, and i want a portal to simply show the age, birthday & last name of, for example, everyone with "John" in the specific field. (their name)

How can this be done?

i can do it if it were in a different file, but where i want it displayed and the table are both in the same file.
