Rendering paragraph ends correctly in CWP

I have a free-form text field in an FMP 7/8 database which can obviously include carriage returns as part of the text.

These fields render correctly in IWP, but when I output the same field through CWP it loses the new line markers.

How do I get this to work?

What are you using for CWP? Remember that FM treats "new line" markers as Mac end-of-line (ascii 13 IIRC). If youre CWP outputs for instance expects Windows end-of-line markers (ascii 10 + ascii 13) then you'll need to make sure CWP processor (XSLT, PHP, ASP, Flash,...) does that for you.
