brian rich Posted September 7, 2006 Share Posted September 7, 2006 I have a free-form text field in an FMP 7/8 database which can obviously include carriage returns as part of the text. These fields render correctly in IWP, but when I output the same field through CWP it loses the new line markers. How do I get this to work? Wim Decorte Posted September 8, 2006 Share Posted September 8, 2006 What are you using for CWP? Remember that FM treats "new line" markers as Mac end-of-line (ascii 13 IIRC). If youre CWP outputs for instance expects Windows end-of-line markers (ascii 10 + ascii 13) then you'll need to make sure CWP processor (XSLT, PHP, ASP, Flash,...) does that for you.
