I have a web site using SQL to query from FM tables running on FMSA.

With FMSA7 it worked with queries to tables as well as with queries to layouts with portals to other FM files shared in the same way as the main file.

With FMSA8 only the queries to tables in the same file work... the queries to the layouts that have a portal to another file data do not.

All settings are identical... did something change in v8?

Please help...

I'm not sure but didn't FM8 also include a new ODBC driver? Are you working with the old driver?

no, I updated the ODBC drivers with the ones that come with the FMSA8 installer (were the same version anyway).

I did a textbook install, following all steps from quitting the services, to removing the old FMS version, to whatever the install instructions say.

I am at a loss...

What kind of errors are you getting? Maybe use those to look on the DataDirect support forums?
