Adding a "scan" button

I don't see any built-in button functions that would allow me to setup a button and have FM8.5 open the scanner dialog, scan the image and import it directly into the dB.

I know I can scan the image ahead of time and simply import the 'picture,' 'pdf,' etc.

What I'm trying to setup is a database that one can enter home utility bill receipts and scan the bill itself to store in the dB. The idea is to create and save the image of the bills, but shred the actual paper bill. Keep everything electronically.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

There has to be a better way to do this within FM itself. With all of the scripting capabilities it has...hum, time to crack open the book.
