how do i change this URL so it links directly to a certain record of the database.

Are you going to type it in the URL line or will it be a link in a FMP generated page, or will it be a link in a non-FMP page? How do you want to reference the record, i.e. an index number or field of your choice or the record ID from within a FMP-record result?
