I've got a customer page that displays cutomer information. Each customer has a series of Jobs associated with them.

I want to be able to display a single job at a time, and have buttons that will advance thru the rest of the jobs.

How do I go about doing this? I've got a table for contacts, and a table with the job information in it. Each cutomer has a unique number and the jobs table has that number assigned to each job for that customer.

Sounds like you need a portal. Have you tried using a portal yet?

I've been messing with portals and they don't have the browse functionality I'm looking for.

Here's what I'm wanting to do.

The top section of my FM will display contact information for a customer.

I want the bottom section to have a set of fields that displays associated job information for that customer. Since a customer will have mor than one job associated with them, I need to be able to browse thru the job info, while maintaining the contact info in the top portion of the screen.

Does that make sense?

That is exactly what a portal is used for.

You design a layout to have the 'fixed' data displayed and add a portal which displays all the related data.

If there are more related records than can be displayed on any one screen the portal can be formatted to display as many rows as you like and any further records can be displayed by use of a scroll bar giving you the 'browse' functionality that you are looking for
