Creating children for an entire found set, all at once!

Featured Replies

So my found set consists of some 70 people I've phoned over the past couple of weeks. I'd like to bring my database up to date by noting that I've made these calls against each record in the found set.

My database has two relevant tables: PEOPLE and ACTIVITIES. I can manually add an ACTIVITY (the phone call) to each of these people in the found set, but isn't there an easier way to do this for the entire found set than to go through each PERSON record and create a new ACTIVITY child record for each?

Here's a file that I modified from my web site to add call back related records to all the parent records in the found set. Enjoy!

Wow, thanks John. That's incredibly useful.
