does anyone know how to create a opening splash screen in the 8.5 v of the runtime?

It takes some time to open the runtime and user is unaware if program is loading.

Hello and welcome

I have not done this but you might try opening a simple one layout(your splashcreen) file first. This should open quickly enough and you could have a startup script in that file which opens the runtime and then closes itself
