I have one computer that is suppose to be the host. I opened the DB and enabled network sharing, and the use has full access. I go to the other computer and click remote and it sees the IP address of the host computer but no files can be seen.

What am i missing?

While you have turned on sharing for FM have you turned on sharing for the files (in the same window).

You have to specify for each file whether sharing is for all users, specify users by privilege set or no users.

You then have an option, again for each file, to check a box to 'don't display in open remote'. If this box is checked for any file then you will not see that file when you try to 'open remote' from the networked computer.

This is so that you can restrict the users access to say, your main file only and let that open all the others
