portal rotation

my boss (being a designer) is demanding that a portal in the database swaps the axis. (i swapped them from the original design). ive got values across the top and people (who entered them) down the side. my boss wants the values down the side and ppl across the top. new data would then be added to a new column on the right.

since i cant seem to simply rotate the portal is there another way?
