I read somewhere that there is a plugin that comes with Filemaker Advanced that forces validation to occur immediately when you exit a field (rather than waiting until you exit the record or do a commit).

Anybody know where to find this? Is it true?

As far as I can tell it is so with Serial number assignment and not other items that you can assign the next value on creation time or on comit time .
