November 12, 200619 yr On the Windows platform, the typical way is to use an installer. It will bundle up all of the files and create an .exe, install them on the user's drive, create an entry on the Start Menu, etc. You can get a free installer at Link , called Inno Setup. I use Setup Factory from Indigo Rose: its very easy to use, creates a compact install, but is not cheap. You can also use a zip program, but it will be lacking such things as: checking for the proper operating system, an uninstaller, etc. Someone else will need to talk about the Mac platform.
