life036 Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Hi All, I've got a question concerning the printing of data from related records. I'm using 8.5. I'm using a portal for data input right now and each line creates a new record in the related database. What can I do on my print layout to print all of the related records without having a super ugly portal on my printed paper? For related records I would normally just use this <>, but this will only display one record, right? Can I show multiple records with this method? Thanks for your help! Chris
aaa Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 Hi, csrofani! <> this is result of calculations and i think you can't do it on this method. But why not by script: GTRR(Show only related) Go To layout Your_Layout Print
T-Square Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 What aaa is saying is to turn the report around and build it from the many part of the relationship. There you can put a single header with the parent record data in it, and then repeat the body ad infinitum. David
