Jerry100
I want to bind a solution into a runtime solution for Windows and a copy for Macs. The original solution was developed in Windows 8.5 Advanced. Do I need a copy of FMP 8.5 Advanced for Macs to create my second runtime solution? Inky Phil
Hi Jerry, Yes you need to prepare 2 bound copies. It matters not which system the solution was developed on but the runtime for windows will have to be bound on a pc and the one for the mac will have to be bound on a mac. I am fairly certain that your original disk will have both mac and windows versions on it so all you will need is access to a mac to be able to prepare both sets HTH Phil
Jerry100
Hi Inky Thanks for the info. I knew I needed to bind two separate solutions, but couldn't find clear information as to whether or not each platform's version of FMP Advanced had the binding routines for both platforms. I have the disc for 8.0, but downloaded the upgrade when I purchased it. I'll assume the download and 8.5 disc are identical and do some searching of the files to see if I can find the MAC binding files. Again thanks.
