APost Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I've an odd printing problem. From XP Pro, FM8 Advanced. when I print a report to my HP LaserJet 2100 I get some text printing normally, and other text is giberish. I've tried printing to the HP with it's PostScript driver as the text reminds me of what a PDF file looks like when you don't print to a post script printer. I can take the same report to my ink jet, or my brother laser jet and it works fine. Any idea why FM doesn't work and play well with an older laserjet?
bcooney Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 could be lack of memory in old laserjet. i recall a doc on filemaker's knowledge base re: hp laserjets, memory and fonts. You may want to search there.
