Inky Phil Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Hello Umar and welcome to the forum. Try to imagine that a portal is a window through which you can look at related records. Just like every time that you look through a window it is facing the same way, so it is the same with a portal. All the records that show up in it are from the same relationship For each set of related records (and therefore of course table occurence) you will need a different portal. I am afraid that I do not understand your comment about grid entries HTH Phil
Mian Umar Posted November 27, 2006 Author Posted November 27, 2006 Thanks 4 reply. Let me explain Table Named By Student Fields are Rollno. Name. Address. Phone No. And i add 10 Records in it. ok So I want All these records show in Form view ( that is simple and I move next or back by clicking on book forward or back) I also want Table view of it In that Form Mean Table within the Form. And if i search one record by Select any fiels Its show me only that Record. Understand or No. Plz Reply i will b wait Thanks. Umar Farooq
Inky Phil Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Hi Umar I think that the attached file might do what you want. You will be able to enter new records in the top fields. These new records will show up in the bottom fields (in the portal). You will also be able to enter find mode (control-F) and do a find using the top fields but better still, just click on any of the names in the portal and you will see the details for that person in the top fields HTH Phil Umar__s_sample.zip
