I have a script to take an e-mail address from my FMP6 DB and send an e-mail.

However having used the standard FMP6 script for this it sends the mail straight to my out folder if I tick the script step "perform without dialog". And to the draft folder if I do not tick it.

I would like it to open the e-mail with the correct address in it so I can write a message in it and than send it manually. Any suggestions?

And that's how it works if you are using Entourage. Apple Mail will do what you want.

If you just want the email to open with the correct address, you can also use the OpenURL step, with a "mailto:" prefiix then the email address. Other things can be added, such as subject, even body, though you must HTML encode spaces and other special characters (includes line endings).
