Accessing a Layout directly?

Is there a way to access a specific layout directly from a weblink? I've got a DB hosted and I'd like to open in in a web browser and go to a specific report layout. I've tried the obvious - adding a &lay= or &layout= to the links URL, but that didn't seem to work.
