Hello,

I was wondering what the best way would be to save a mapping scheme when importing into filemaker. I import data weekly and the format is always the same, but mapping out the data to match the filemaker file to the takes time. At this time I cannot change the format of the file being imported, so I cannot change the column names to match. As of now, I do it once for the week, and change the "arrange by" to last order (once I do it once) but when I shut down the computer, I lose that order. Is there a better way to do this, or am I stuck.

Use a script with an Import Records[ Restore ] script step. Restoring the import order saves it for next time.
