I have a CD containing information that from inspecting the contents has the information stored in a .DB file. The only thing that I was able to sort of open the file with was Word. From that file the only thing that was readable was that it was done with Sybase. I found shareware for trying an ODBC connection

but could not get it to work since the files are local and not actually on a server. I tried to use 127.0.0.1 but that did not work. I have no experience (yet) with ODBC. So the question here is what can I do to access the information in this .db file. The solution does not have to involve the use of FM.

Thanks for the help :o
