Hi everyone,

I have a web db setup with web companion over the internet. When I login as the admin I get full access, just as I setup in the access window. However, my user can only see layout and the blank fields. He (or me logged in as him) can mouse-over the popup fields and check boxes, but cannot access any of the fields.

When I go to access privileges, password, he is setup to have limited access to view and edit. I have the access set to (your ID number="their id"). I want to try and limit them to view only their records. I have the exact same thing setup in a test file and it works perfectly?

Under the access privileges window when I select the user the layout and fields are greyed out and I cannot change them to accessable?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using Instant publishing? Another person a few weeks ago had problems that led to the conclusion that Groups doesn't work with instant.
