Hi

I use FM 7 for the Mac now but I need to switch to the Windows platform. I DL'd the trial version of 8.5 for windows. I can't open the files. Says they are not FM or severly damaged. Some details: I dl'd to a desktop PC burnrd it (and my mac FM files that were BU'd there) to disk and installed on a PC laptop (both with XP). It installed fine and can open the FM app but no luck with the files. Also tried the "recover" route but to no avail. Would an older version of FM work? Please Help! only 29 more days left!

This is more important with older Mac files, but make sure they have the .fp7 file extension on them.. Often, Macs omit that, but PC are helpless without it.
