Newbies John Chris Posted January 11, 2007 Newbies Posted January 11, 2007 I am fairly new to FM. I have a field with a formula containing over 120 IF statements. FM has prompted me that this formula is too long and that I must use two formulae instead. How do I put two formulae into one field? Thanks for your help :)
Stuart Taylor Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Probably best to post the code ... or explain what this field is supposed to be doing... If you have 120 if statements you may be better of approaching it a different way.
Newbies John Chris Posted January 11, 2007 Author Newbies Posted January 11, 2007 Thanks for your prompt reply. I have 200 items for hire. I wish to place an alert when an item is on hire so that a warning is raised if someone tries to hire out an item that is currently on hire. My IF statement places a flag on the record in my equipment file. I am sure that there is a better way to effect this Thanks again
Stuart Taylor Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Posting Code or a File will help you to resolve this quicker.
