Conditional value list

I need to remove value list enty based on a field value. For istance, I have two fields, one is text field that contains a value from the value list, and other is a calc field counting the occurences of the text field entry. When the calc field hits 10 I want to remove the value of the text field from the value list.

Any ideas?
