I just bought a computer that has (unfortunately) XP Media Center. Some of my scripts in 8.0 Advanced crashed the program. (Windows needs to close the prgam now...We are sorry for the incoveniuence) I updated to v3 on the FMPro site. Got rid of one set of problems.

Still left this problem: My scripts that call an email field to send an email to, crash the program.

Any ideas.

Thanks.

... Media center isn't even a supported version of windows to run FileMaker on... So as much as i'd LOVE to say it's FileMaker's fault.. get XP home or pro SP2.

Why?

This is a strange statement to make on a FileMaker Forum.

It's a double-noted semi-sarcastic statement, some FileMaker bugs have been really getting on my nerves recently... though i suppose i could've chosen my words better, e.g. "tell you" instead of "say". And now he has to get a new version of windows, so he has to fork out dollars, where as if it WAS FileMaker's fault... well then, it would possibly be a script issue that someone could tell him how to fix.
