I create a number of reports using scripts. I am running FileMaker Server7 Advanced (7.02). These reports work fine when using FileMaker Pro 7.0 but when I use FileMaker Pro 8.51 Advanced the report totals do the following. The totals on the initial preview page display fine and as I page through the subsequent pages the totals display fine. The problem presents itself when I page back to the previous page or when I print the report. The total column then displays zero's for all the line items.

Is this a problem with using FileMaker 8.51 Advanced with the FileMaker Server7 Advanced

(7.02) software? Any thoughts will be appreciated.........Ray

Possibly.

FMS7 does not support features that only became available in later releases of the client - maybe you are using some of those functions.

Thanks for your thoughts IdealData, it must be something along those lines. The thing that befuddles me is that the correct totals are on the preview page that is initially generated prior to printing. As one pages through each of the preview report pages prior to printing the totals appear OK. It is only when one pages back to the first page that the totals become "0.00." Also, when you print the report even though the totals appear OK on the preview page they are printed out as "0.00."

I have some clients still running FMPro 7, I guess I will use these to print out the reports until I upgrade the DB server to 8.5. Thanks again for your thoughts...........Ray
