General question about FMP and FMP Server.

I have a general DB file on temp server 1 (FMP server running). Move this file to another folder on a permanent server because the temp was decomissioned.

During this movement, the file seemed to lock me out as the admin. Message: Can't modify pops up.

How can I get back into file options to change/address this problem?

I do not have FMP server training so I don't know the concepts behind the potential problem (reason for asking).

I just want my group to be able to use this file and understand why the file changes it's options by moving between folders and servers?

Check at the OS level to see if the file is set to Read Only.

Checked the FILE properties. It seems if I go into security and look at the accounts set up that the 'everyone' account is read only and that the server folder access account is the same. I don't have security access to update or change these. So I will start with asking my IT managers to change it for me to see if I can get access.
