I'm Stumped! (again).

I have a pdf document in a container field. I'm trying to figure out how to place a button on a web layout that would open the document with Acrobat Reader on the remote users computer. I've found it can easily be done if on a LAN but can find nothing about making it happen via web.

I'd be eternally greatful for any ideas you might have.
