Is there an easy way to pass a parameter to a script that can be parced to perform a find and update on a field value where the field name to be updated is a parameter? In otherwords I would like to pass :)

I know how to do the "find" based on a primary key but updating a field based on a variable isn't clear. The reason I am having difficulty is the "Set Field" script step requires an explicit selection of the field to be updated but I want to do a "calculated" field to update based on the passed parameter. Is there a better way to do this without a bunch of IF/ElseIf/Endif script statements?
