Summary Calculation

Featured Replies

Hello can i create a summary by 2 search dates.

Let me explain jobs are entered every 2 weeks from the 1st to the 14th and from the 15th to the 31st, an invoice is then created for both these ranges but on the last period 15th ---31 the invoice is created on the 1st. here is where i have the problem.

i am breaking a summary by the month, via the invoice date but i am always a job period behind so for example i have

Jan 200

feb 400

march 410

april 415

etc........

but if i do a manual search by invoice date lets say 5th of jan to 5th of February the result is correct. but now i cannot list the summery as

Jan

Feb

March

etc........

Sorry if i confused you all thanks if you can work this out for me.

I'm also having a similar issue involving trying to pull records between two dynamic dates. I can set up a find function with static dates but not dynamic dates.

okay i think i have fixed my problem of jobs getting invoiced on the 1st of the month, as i am breaking by the month i just used this calc.

Any of you developers see a problem with this please let me know. hold up i could be becoming a developer :qwery:

MonthName ( Date_Invoice - 3)

which will put all the invoices back by 3 days for this Summary.
