sending multiple attachments ?

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I'm trying to send an email with multiple attachments. I've set a variable and looped through a portal to export files in container fields and build a Path list that looks like this:

filemac:/Earth/Users/steven/Desktop/Pihdda, Martin.pdf

filemac:/Earth/Users/steven/Desktop/Hedf, Moo.pdf

filemac:/Earth/Users/steven/Desktop/Cabb, Erin.pdf

filemac:/Earth/Users/steven/Desktop/Asan, Frank.pdf

For some reason though, when I run the send mail script step, and put the variable in the attachment section, Filemaker only grabs the first attachment, and ignores the rest.

Any idea how I can get the rest of the attachments to be included?

(I don't have time to investigate a plugin.. if I can't fix this for the person I'm doing it for, she is going to send her 60 emails the old-fashioned way)

p.s. I've confirmed with the data viewer that the variable contains that path list and the files did all export correctly to those locations.

Sorry, multiple attachments are not supported. Unfortuately you will have to go with a plugin.
