Refreshing portal entries

Featured Replies

Hi all -

I seem to be having a bit of a torrid time at the moment lol - just going so slowly.

I would be very grateful for any help on how to automatically refresh :help: (within a script) fields on a portal.

The two fields are both calculations (which can't be stored) so I figure I just need to refresh the fields from within a script but I can't seem to find a way to do.

Many many thanks

Simon

Try the Refresh Window [ Flush cached join results ] step.

Are these based on global values? If so can these globals reside where ever you wish, but putting them into the table the portalized data originates from forces the freshing thru sans scripting!

Thanks for taking the time to respond -

At the moment these are not globals - they are unstored calcs that summarise the values from a related file (in this case the total of prepaid time available on a clients affairs)

Am I missing a trick here (ie could a global store this instead?

Thanks
