Hi,

I'm new to Filemaker but I'm tasked to develop MIS for our office. We are a printing company with over 50 employees and I'm not sure if FM can handle the following:

1. Estimating application (currently we are using excel spreadsheet)

2. Electronic Docket System (currently our docket is printed on 13x20 envelope and we manually fill in information.

The idea of these two application is for staff of 20 users to have access and possibly updating info constantly.

Hi Bugsy

Sure FM can do what you want. I have developed just such a system myself for my own business.

It has just been launched on to the commercial market here in the uk and is meeting with a fair degree of success.

This is not a sales pitch by the way, because the software as it stands right now is not set up for the canadian market. What you would be able to see though is just what is possible with FM ....but be warned, it took 2 to 3 years in the making and it wasn't easy!!
